Drop into the Predator universe through a new competitive online multiplayer experience.  Play as an elite Fireteam charged to complete paramilitary operations while a Predator mercilessly hunts you. Or, BE the Predator, armed with all the deadly alien weaponry you’ve grown to love and pursue your prey.

“We first assembled 12 years ago to create games based off of movies we love and Predator seemed like the perfect fit. You can tell we’re a team of passionate movie and video game fans,” Charles Brungardt CEO, IllFonic said.

“Once we decided on Predator, it was clear this needed to be a shooter that had to look and feel authentic. Our team’s passion for Predator helped us launch the partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Fox. Not only do these powerhouses believe in our vision, which has made this a dream project, they understand what we want to create. They have given us so much to work with and are empowering us to create something new for fans, while expanding the lore of the Predator. Ghost Recon Breakpoint Official Announce Trailer & Gameplay Revealed

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Official Announce Trailer & Gameplay Revealed

Ghost Recon Breakpoint official announce trailer & gameplay revealed

During their world premiere livestream, Ubisoft revealed Ghost Recon Breakpoint as the new title in the Tom Clancy game franchise. The video game will push players to survive any way they can in a diverse and dangerous world when the title launches on October 4 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the official announce trailer and gameplay walkthrough below!

The Ghost Recon Breakpoint name comes from a military term for the moment when a unit has lost its combat effectiveness. A breakpoint signals a posture change from attack to defense, from defense to withdraw, or withdraw to survive.

Deep in the Pacific Ocean lies the fictional archipelago of Auroa, home to billionaire tech entrepreneur Jace Skell’s massive research complex. When the US army begins to detect strange activity coming out of Auroa, they send their absolute best to investigate. Enter Nomad, the fully customizable player character and elite Ghost from Ghost Recon Wildlands. Nomad’s reconnaissance mission quickly turns into a fight for survival when hostile drones shoot down the Ghosts’ helicopter. As the sole survivor, Nomad quickly learns that even the world’s most highly trained hunters can become the hunted.

Nomad’s warm welcome is courtesy of Cole D. Walker (played by Jon Bernthal), a former Ghost and brother-in-arms whom players first met in Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Operation Oracle. In Breakpoint, Walker has betrayed the Ghosts and now leads the Wolves, a hostile faction of elite ex-military soldiers who have captured Skell’s facility on Auroa. As former Ghosts, the Wolves are far deadlier than any threat Nomad has faced before, and thanks to their weaponized Skell drones, they’re also packing a technologically advanced force that outshines anything the Ghosts have access to. Outmanned, outgunned, and stranded on a chain of islands miles away from help, Nomad (and his fellow Ghosts, if you decide to partake in the four-player co-op) needs to survive long enough to take down the Wolves and protect the world from Walker’s growing army.

RELATED: Watch Ubisoft’s New Ghost Recon World Premiere Livestream!

The survival fantasy comes to life on Auroa, a huge, environmentally diverse archipelago with biomes that range from snow-capped mountains and muddy marshlands to tropical jungles and brooding volcanoes. Each environment offers up its own tactical advantages, but more importantly, poses its own dangers. The Wolves and their drones aren’t the only things that can harm you on Auroa, and you’ll need to read the terrain and adapt your tactics if you want to survive.

“When we started consulting with experts, they saw that we had tactical options available to players – but there were big things missing when it came to the consideration of the terrain and the world itself, and all the issues and advantages terrain can provide,” said Creative Director Eric Couzian.

Exhaustion and injury will be real threats, so you won’t be sprinting up every mountainside or down every slope you encounter. If you want the tactical advantage of higher ground, you’ll have to weigh the cost. Trudging uphill exhausts your stamina and slows your movement, and you won’t recover until you take time to slow down, rest, or drink water. Likewise, sprinting down a hill (especially a muddy one) can cause you to fall, resulting in possible injuries or detection by enemies.

The game will also feature new stealth and cover options, new classes introducing a variety of gameplay, the ability to prep for missions, customize, and craft supplies at the temporary Bivouac camp, and the option to play as a Nomad and survive solo or in co-op mode (with three human or AI players).

Ghost Recon Breakpoint will feature competitive PvP gameplay at launch, and all character progression will be shared between single-player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay. Players will be able to customize their Nomad and take that character freely between PvE and PvP gameplay. Character experience, class rank, equipment level, and gear will be shared across both modes. There will also be post-launch content, including the franchise’s first-ever raid.

F. Gary Gray to direct Saints Row movie

Fenix Studios, Koch Media and Occupant Entertainment have partnered to develop the popular action-adventure video game franchise Saints Row into a feature film for F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, Men in Black: International) to direct. Greg Russo (Mortal Kombat) has been hired to write the screenplay.

RELATED: The new Men In Black: International Trailer Is Here!

Saints Row is one of the best-selling and adored video game franchises of all time. Created by acclaimed videogame developer Deep Silver Volition LLC., and published by Deep Silver, the quadrilogy tells the story of the rise of the Third Street Saints as they battle rival gangs, furries, and even aliens in an attempt to conquer the fictional cities of Stilwater and Steelport, ultimately elevating their leader to President of the United States.

Fenix and Occupant will produce the film alongside Koch Films, a subsidiary of the German-based media conglomerate Koch Media, which owns Saints Row publisher Deep Silver. This project will be a part of Fenix Studios’ production and development deal with Starlight Culture Entertainment Group. Gary Glushon is overseeing for Fenix Studios. Felipe Marino and Joe Neurauter are producing for Occupant with Stefan Kapelari and Moritz Peters for Koch Films.

Greg Russo has carved a niche adapting videogame properties. He was the architect of the Mortal Kombat reboot gearing up at Warner Bros. and worked on the Resident Evil reboot for Constantin. He’s currently writing Death Note 2 for Netflix and an adaptation of the DC comic The Highwaymen at New Line.

Fortnite’s Avengers: Endgame mode is now playable

Epic Games and Marvel Studios have released the trailer for their second massive Fortnite collaboration. Their latest team-up has resulted in Fortnite Endgame, the battle royale players know and love combined with the latest MCU big-budget spectacle, Avengers: Endgame. You can check out the trailer in the player below!

Now, players can drop in with their squads, search for the Avenger’s items and take the fight directly to Thanos himself. Can you eliminate Thanos and his army before the last Infinity Stone is found? Or will he complete the Infinity Gauntlet and pick up a Snap Royale? There’s only one way to find out.

RELATED: Avengers: Endgame World Premiere Photos

The first collaboration between the battle royale platform and Marvel was last year’s “Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup,” which featured a standard Fortnite game that included the Infinity Gauntlet, plus all six Infinity Stones, as a findable item in the game. This latest mod really ratchets up the possibilities, with items like Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s armor, or Thor’s newest weapon, Stormbreaker.

The Avengers: Endgame mode will be available for free on Fortnite across all platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS). Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode is also free to play. Also, Avengers: Endgame is in theaters starting this weekend. So, there’s that.
